Parking in Harpers Ferry

Parking is restricted in Lower Town Harpers Ferry in order to maintain the 18th and 19th century historical appearance of the town. Visitors who travel here by car can arrange parking through the National Park Service (NPS). Parking is available at the Cavalier Heights Entrance Station, Bolivar Heights, Maryland Heights, Harpers Ferry Train Station, and River Access Parking Lot. A shuttle bus is available from the Cavalier Heights Entrance Station. The NPS operates this shuttle from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. in the summer and 5:45 p.m. in the winter. They are open year round except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year Day holidays. Please refer to the NPS website for further information.
